Payment in advance scams  

Known also as an Advance Fee Scam, this is when scammers ask you to pay an upfront fee to receive a prize/service, high-value goods or loans which never eventuate. These scams can take many forms, including inheritance scams and competition scams. You are likely to receive an email or a message over social media saying you have won or inherited a big prize or a lot of money. To claim the money or prize, they will ask you to pay a fee. Scammers make this fee sound reasonable by putting it forward as courier charges, legal fees, bank fees, government taxes, or some other sort of insurance costs.  

Bamboo does not charge any application or upfront fees, nor do we deduct such fees from the loan advance.
